Adoption Baby Shower Game
Just like any other shower, an adoption baby shower game is a fun way to celebrate a new child For the host of the shower, they often feel that it is the games that are one of the most important parts. Games get all of the guests laughing, interacting and even thinking about the new child. Finding adoption baby shower games can be difficult and if the parents are adopting an older child, well, playing the traditional baby food game and measuring her belly aren’t exactly appropriate.

1. I like this one for international adoption baby showers. It’s called “How do YOU Say Baby? You get two versions, “easy” and “hard.” In the “easy” you match the Nationality with the Foreign spelling of the word Baby. However, for the harder version, you only get the picture of the Nationality, the words are not provided.
2. Baby Bingo Each guest will get a bingo card that consists of the TOP 12 most common gifts given at a baby shower. As the new mom opens her gifts, guests “dab” the picture of that gift on their baby bingo cards.Or you could just use blank bingo cards. The guest fills them in with the gifts they think the Mom will receive. As she receives that gift, they check it off their box. First one to get BINGO, wins. 3. Have a "guess the baby food" game. Buy about 6-8 jars of assorted kinds of baby food (including the weird mixtures of meats & veggies). Write down what they're supposed to be on a paper with a number corresponding to each jar.
Then, mark each jar with its correct number, and remove the labels. Have party guests, using disposable plastic spoons, guess what the baby food is supposed to be. (It's actually a lot harder than it sounds, especially if you get things like potatoes or mixtures..... Winner is the one who guesses the most jars.
4. Guess the Nursery Rhyme game is basically where you match the name of the nursery rhyme with the picture. The easy version is fun, but not very challenging. I like the hard version where you get the pictures and have to come up with the names of the nursery rhymes on your own.
5. Another adoption baby shower game is trivia. Have everyone write down some odd trivia about themselves and put it in a hat. Read each piece of paper and have people guess who wrote it. Who ever gets the most correct wins a prize.
If you want to give the attention to the new mom then have her write down various bits of trivia about herself and add some that are not true. Read them one by one, have people guess if it is true or false. Who ever gets the most correct of course, wins Here are some other adoption baby shower game suggestions: for older children 1. Give each guest a piece of paper with the child's full name written on it. Have each guest write one five-year-old-like piece of advice, rule, or wish beside each letter of their name. For example: B... Beans are "the magical fruit." E... Enjoy your first day of kindergarten! N... Never talk to strangers. Then, vote on your favorites. 2. Play games such as charades or pictionary in which the child can be included. For example, when playing pictionary with a large group it can be more difficult and time consuming to go by the rules of the board game. So make up your own rules. Just split up into groups and draw pictures for your team to guess. Which ever team has the most points after a certain time wins. 3. Ask your guests to bring pictures of themselves at approx. five years old and have everyone guess who's who. Winner is the one who get's the most correct. 4. When mom opens her gifts, set a timer to ring after every 5-10 minutes or whatever age the new child is. Whoever's gift is being opened when the timer goes off gets a small prize.
5. Guess the baby animal game. Guests name the baby animal that goes with the baby animal picture. Let the child or children play, but let them double up with an adult, because they will probably know the name of the animal, however not it’s baby name.
