A Brief Overview of a
Kazakhstan Adoption

A popular country in which overseas adoptions take place is Kazakhstan. There are many children who have been abandoned while living there, and they are each up for adoption.

The process of a Kazakhstan adoption is handled directly by the local government; this helps to ensure that the adoption runs smoothly for you, the child and them.

There are various reasons why you may decide that adopting from Kazakhstan is right for you. One being that, Kazakhstan people are culturally and naturally loveable and kind, so Kazakhstan children would be ideal to have as your own. Second, because Kazakhstan's have good physical features, a combination of Asian and Caucasian.

If you are adopting from Kazakhstan and need to travel there, you will be amazed at the country’s overall hospitality. You will feel extremely welcomed in your adoption trips.

There is however one tip that will help you to get on with the adoption in that country. That one guideline is simple: "be aware of the process itself". Here is a rundown of the actual process for a Kazakstan adoption:

    1. Come together with an adoption agency in your home country and at the same time with the official Kazakhstan adoption counterpart. You will be required to fill out forms like the I60A form. This will serve as your petition for your adoption from Kazakhstan.

    2. You will need to do a home study of the Kazakhstan culture. This way you will understand their culture and be able to relate better with the child. You may need to learn some basic Kazakhstan language so that you can communicate with the child during the first days or months.

3.. Once you have prepared, completed and had approved all the necessary adoption papers, you will than be ready to move to the next level of the adoption process.

    4. You will be required to take two trips to Kazakhstan, but wait until the government notifies you or formally invites you to their country (relating to the adoption). The first trip will be for the processing and getting-to-know the child and the second trip for the final adoption stage, where you will be able to bring the child home.

    5. You could take both trips at once, completing the whole process in a month. On the second trip, remember to get a visa for your new child to your country. The Kazakhstan government will require you to sign a pledge, submitting a post placement report for the Kazakhstan adoption, until your child is 18 years old.

The process of a Kazakhstan adoption is pretty simple, but being patient is still imperative. Good luck.
